As long as I can remember I’ve always been fascinated by beautiful things, whether they look good, taste good, smell good or feel good, I will remember them and cherish them in my heart forever. Surprisingly, this is how I developed my tastes. I didn’t spend much of my time on the Internet during my youth (in fact it didn’t exist) nor didn’t have access to culture the same way I would have today but my childhood was without a doubt full of experiences and is today my biggest source of inspiration. I grew up in the South of France in a passionate and traditional Italian family. Every day was like opening a new book; I would admire my mother taking care of the garden and preparing meals; I loved going to farmer’s markets and brocantes (flea markets), following the smell of fresh breads, travelling and discovering new cultures and traditions… Beautiful but simple things were constantly nourishing me.
After moving to New York City, I felt a deep joy reconnecting with my childhood values and I thought it could be useful to write it all down. This is how Feel Superb was born. There, you’ll find (I hope) a go-to-guide to feel your best at home, a wealth of good food and tips to live more consciously.
I don’t think I’m an expert in sustainable living nor I would call myself an activist, but it would be my pleasure to take you on a journey to discover and embrace a more down-to-earth approach (even if you life in a large city), by cooking and eating more thoughtful and delicious food, by making positive changes at home and exploring what’s out there that can have a tremendous impact on our life with a lot more respect for our planet.
Sincerely,
Marina Di Costanzo,
