Ham, Cheese and Olive Bread 

This Ham, Cheese and Olive Bread is everything you need to nail your next dinner party or picnic in the park. Halfway between a bread and a savory cake, we love its great texture, not too rich nor too moist with a delicious cheesy crumb on the top! In addition to being totally convenient to transport and eat, this savory bread is packed with flavors and proteins that it will, undeniably, more than satisfy your crowd. 

Ingredients

Serves 8 people

1 1/4 cup (200g) all-purpose flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp fresh ground black pepper
3 large eggs
7 tbsp (100ml) warmed almond milk or any milk of your choice 
7 tbsp (100ml) vegetable oil 
1 cup (100g) grated Swiss cheese 
150g green olives, pitted
200g ham steak, diced in small cubes

Directions 

1. Preheat your oven to 390F (200C).

2. Butter and flour a loaf pan (8×4-inches) and set aside. 

3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. 

4. Add the eggs, vegetable oil and warmed milk and stir well. Make sure there is no lumps!

5. Add ham, olives and cheese and combine. 

6. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

7. Bake for 45 minutes, until the top is golden and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. 

Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
