At Hati Padi cottages, it’s so quiet and relaxing that the only negative thought we had was we didn’t booked enough nights. Lost in the middle of vast rice fields (and when I say lost, it is so profoundly hidden near the Kelusa Village, even our local driver was wondering where we were going), the small and very private retreat never really appeared like a hotel in our eyes. Instead, we actually felt like Bali regulars on a “Eat Pray Love” journey.
Intimate and very traditional, we felt privileged to experience the real balinese life, the culture, religion, hospitality. Without forget, all the delicious Indonesian meals prepared at their farm-to-table restaurant. Everything you need if you are seeking forgetting about your everyday life. We truly felt the spirit of Bali.
Their traditional wooden cottages, entirely hand-crafted and designed by the owner, is a beautiful tribute to the island’s savoir-faire. Each detail is a true expression of the balinese artistic touches, embracing their traditional architectural history while being deeply rooted in nature.
Bali warm and humid weather is mostly appreciated early morning as the nature awakes and the first sun light tickles your skin. You will be amazed by the vivid green color shining at every corner, starting by the garden bathroom.
